"I am extremely grateful to be awarded this scholarship in memory of friends and Memorial High School alumni. All of this wouldn’t be possible without the assistance and support of you guys. My dream is to become a certified therapist that will allow me to assist with mental, emotional, and behavioral health to diagnose and find treatment for people. My passion has always been to gain a deeper understanding of people's personal problems and provide solutions that will improve their way of life."

- Marissa Silverio

"Words cannot express how happy and thankful I am for your generosity. You have single handedly made it possible for me to go and get an education at OSU, so I can help people as a nurse. I am so very grateful. I look forward to saving lives and caring for the sick after I graduate with my degree. Thank you so much for making all of this possible."

- Josiah William Hudson

"It is because of generous donations like yours that I am able to advance my education so that one day I will be able to positively impact people’s lives through medicine. This award has also motivated me to stay ambitious because it has shown me that hard work ultimately does pay off. I also hope that one day in the future I will be able to donate to the students of Memorial High School to help them achieve their goals, the same way that you have helped me."

- Oswaldo Atilano

How it Works

We depend on financial support from Memorial alumni to fund scholarships for current students. Memorial seniors apply, are interviewed and awarded scholarships at the Senior Assembly in May.
